How it works
Lysine is an essential amino acid found in protein which isn’t produced in your body. Lysine may help to slow down or prevent the growth of the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), which is responsible for cold sores. Lysine is not a cure for cold sores, but it may help prevent and shorten the duration of an outbreak. [1]
High-strength Manuka honey – made by bees collecting nectar from New Zealand Manuka bushes – contains the active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO), which has an antimicrobial [2] and also anti-bacterial effect on the body, according to a 2018 study by Ulster University. [3]
In a 2009 German and New Zealand study, researchers suggested honey could speed up the healing process in skin because: [4]
- honey stimulates the inflammatory response in the body, leading to the regeneration of skin cells and connective tissues
- the pH level of honey is very low, which reduces infection
Avena sativa (Oat) kernel oil is a golden lipid extracted from oats with amazing moisturising and healing properties and a non-greasy finish. It has shown effectiveness in treating a variety of skin conditions, including skin rashes, erythema, burns, itch, and eczema thanks to its anti-inflammatory abilities. [5]
Aloe vera gel has showed in one particular study that its anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects could have inhibitory effects on cold sores. [6]
Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) is a shrub that’s indigenous to the United States and has been used for centuries by Native Americans as a remedy for a variety of skin ailments related to irritation and inflammation. [7]

Hoe te gebruiken
Breng aan op het getroffen gebied wanneer nodig. Voor het beste resultaat elke twee uur aanbrengen. Was de handen vóór en na het aanbrengen.
Let op: Vermijd direct contact met de ogen. Wij raden aan om vóór gebruik een patchtest uit te voeren. Niet gebruiken als u allergisch bent voor een van de vermelde ingrediënten.
Bewaring: Bewaar op een koele, droge plaats, uit direct zonlicht. Buiten bereik van jonge kinderen houden.

Retourneren - Defect product
Als u ontdekt dat het product defect is of niet van bevredigende kwaliteit binnen 30 dagen na levering, heeft u mogelijk recht op een terugbetaling of omruiling.
Producten moeten mogelijk naar ons magazijn in Duitsland worden teruggestuurd voor beoordeling. De kosten voor de retourzending zijn voor uw rekening.

Retourneren - Wijziging van gedachte
Als u van gedachte verandert en het product niet meer wilt binnen 14 dagen na levering, kunt u het retourneren voor een terugbetaling. Let op: om in aanmerking te komen voor een terugbetaling, moet het product ongeopend, in de originele verpakking en verzegeld zijn.
